Faith, Food & Fellowship: Another Wonderful Church Picnic & BBQ!

There are few things that bring people together quite like good food, warm sunshine, and great company—and that's exactly what we enjoyed at this year's Annual Church Picnic & BBQ!

What a blessing it was to spend the day together, sharing laughs, delicious food, and making memories. From the youngest children running and playing to grandparents relaxing in the shade visiting with friends, there truly was something for everyone.

With the grills fired up, the mouthwatering aroma of burgers and hot dogs filled the air. Before long, our picnic tables were overflowing with homemade favorites—everything from potato salad and beans to fresh garden vegetables and fruit, savory casseroles, enticing salads and desserts of which there’s always more than enough for everyone. If you've ever attended one of our church picnics, you know no one leaves hungry!

One of the greatest joys of the day wasn't just the food—it was the fellowship. It's amazing how sharing a meal and spending time together strengthens friendships and reminds us that church is so much more than a building. It's a family. Watching conversations unfold between longtime members, first-time visitors, and new friends was a beautiful reminder of the love that makes our church community so special.

The children kept everyone smiling with their endless energy as they enjoyed playing.  Laughter echoed across the park while adults simply sat together catching up on life's latest adventures. Moments like these remind us how important it is to slow down and enjoy one another.

Of course, events like this don't happen without a lot of helping hands. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Matt and Cara who planned the event and cooked the hamburgers, hot dogs and brought the drinks. Also to everyone who helped plan, organize, cook, set up, cleaned up, and volunteered throughout the day. Your servant's heart reflects Jesus's love in such a meaningful way, and we appreciate every one of you.

Most importantly, we're thankful to God for the beautiful weather, and the opportunity to gather as one church family. Every smile, every conversation, and every shared meal reminded us of His goodness and the blessings found in Christian fellowship.

If you joined us this year, thank you for making it such a wonderful day! We hope you left with a full stomach, a happy heart, and maybe even a new friend.
